“Flax, or harakeke, is a New Zealand indigenous plant and it has been grown for its valuable fibre. There is a Maori proverb about preserving important resources: “If you cut the central stalk of the flax bush, where will the bellbird feed?” They would only take some of the outer leaves to ensure an ongoing supply. Our kitsets significantly reduce freighting, which is one of our ways of doing what we can to help preserve our beautiful sea and land environments ” - David Trubridge
